Oh to be Will Farrell. All in one week, he is nominated for a Tony award, has a new movie opening, and is the first guest on the all new Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. How is this possible? Where there’s a Will, there’s a way!
Will Farrell is known for a great many things; most of them of the gross out comedy variety. But recently, Will Farrell was nominated for a Tony award. Yes, a Tony. For his stage show “You’re Welcome America. A Final Evening with George W. Bush,” Will is nominated for Best Theatrical Event. Here’s the kicker – he is pitted against Liza Minnelli for the award! Appearing on the first ever Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, even Will seemed shocked! Well, when Will Farrell is involved, anything is possible.
Seeming a bit more Will Farrell’s speed, is his new movie, Land of the Lost. This quirky adventure is a remake of the 1970’s children’s TV show. Farrell plays scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, who travels back in time to an alternate universe populated by dinosaurs and sleestaks. Dr. Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts…now THIS is the Will Farrell we know and love.
