Country music sensation Taylor Swift is on a winning streak. At only 19 years of age, she writes her own music and seems to break records and win awards virtually every time she opens her mouth! Taylor’s music has had a presence on Billboard’s Country Music charts since 2006, and in 2008, she sold more than 4 million albums and had the most paid country music downloads in history!
At the recent Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Taylor became the youngest artist in history to win Album of the Year, for her album Fearless. Having also produced that album, Taylor received a second award. Because Fearless spawned 5 top 10 hits, Taylor Swift was named this year’s recipient of ACM’s Crystal Milestone Award, given for Outstanding Achievement in Country Music. Beating out other country music heavy weights like Carrie Underwood and George Strait, Taylor has proven she can hold her own, and be quite Fearless doing it!
Prior to receiving the top honors of the night, Taylor Sift walked the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music awards wearing a one shouldered floor length crimson gown from Angel Sanchez. Taylor wore elegant jewelry from Neil Lane; brown diamond dangle earrings and a gold cuff bracelet. She completed her red carpet look with a VBH clutch purse and Christian Louboutin shoes.
