Williams: A Man of Many Complications
|
Comedians are often considered to be tortured souls. Complicated people. Robin Williams is certainly no exception. Seeing him perform live, you get the impression that he has so much talent it must be hard to have it contained in just one person. Perhaps that’s why in describing Robin Williams, it sounds as though you are describing several people. He has been nominated for 4 academy awards, both in comedic and dramatic roles, (winning best supporting actor in 1997’s Good Will Hunting), he has done TV, film, animated, he is an active cyclist (and friends with Lance Armstrong no less), philanthropist, a restaurateur (he co-owns Rubicon in San Francisco with Robert De Niro and Francis Ford Coppola), not to mention his long career as a stand up comic. Whew! From this wide array of interests and talents, you can see that Robin Williams is one dynamic and complicated individual.
Recently Robin Williams was photographed in New York City outside Pastis restaurant. He is seen here wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Self Winding Chronograph watch. Talk about a match made in heaven…this sporty and complicated timepiece is perfect for him! AP is a brand known to excel in complicated pieces, and their Royal Oak is of iconic stature within the brand’s collections.
Robin Williams is known to be a collector of many things: bicycles, video games and complicated watches. We are pleased this original has such original taste! What other time pieces would suit the multi-talented Mr. Williams?
Need your help on this one.
