The Porsche Design Satellite watch collection takes the sports chronograph to a virtuoso level. A world premier, the Porsche Design "Indicator" watch which defines this collection presents to connoisseurs features never before seen in a mechanical chronograph watch. Composed of more than 800 parts, the selfwinding movement of this sports masterpiece offers a chronograph with a running digital indicator which can display elapsed time intervals of up to 9 hours and 59 minutes in duration, with visibility not possible from a conventional dial-type hour and minute counter. A power reserve indication shows the remaining tension within the four mainspring barrels required to power the intricate mechanics. Its impressive 49-mm titanium case, which has been given a satinized PVD coating, underscores the elaborate construction of the movement; automotive cues extend to the styling, and the chronograph start and stop buttons as well as the winding rotor echo features of the Porsche Carrera GT supercar.
