The Glashutte Original Pano watch collection combines the best in the traditional Glashutte watchmaking tradition, with the design clarity and honest horological expression that characterizes the manufacture Glashutte Original. Although presented in a range of technical implementations, the Glashutte Original PanoDate watches are joined by a very distinctive design element---an elegantly asymmetric dial layout with off-center hours and minutes, and a consistent placement of the large date display. Within this format, Glashutte Original offers manually wound and selfwinding models with power reserve, a watch which features a moonphase display, and a spectacular collection of column-wheel controlled chronographs in both manually wound and automatic-winding iterations, the latter having astounded the watchmaking world with an innovative system which can alter its automatic-winding process to the activity level of its wearer, to allow maximum efficiency with minimum mechanical wear. Intricate and beautiful flying tourbillons are also found within the Glashutte Original Pano watch collection, whose beautiful construction and technical delicacy proudly uphold the legacy left by the legendary German tourbillon specialist, Alfred Helwig. True to the in-house ethics held by Glashutte Original, all of the finely crafted movements within the Pano watches are entirely produced in Glashutte, and proudly brought to their final excellence by the passionate Glashutte watchmakers. |
