The Glashutte Original Senator Karree watch collection places the horological skill of this great German manufacturer into a new, elegant tonneau shape which has evolved from the formerly rectangular Karree form. Offered in stainless steel, or 18K rose gold, the Glashutte Original Senator Karree watches comprise several models, from an elegant basic timepiece with three hands, to a beautiful perpetual calendar watch which presents the traditional indications of a perpetual calendar---day, date, month, and leap year---with unprecedented clarity and an absence of visual dissonance. The Senator Karree watch collection is animated by Glashutte Original's reliable and finely made manufacture made Caliber 39 movement, whose surfaces have been aesthetically enriched by fine Glashutte ribbing on the bridges, sunburst decoration on the winding wheels, and a 21K gold segment on the periphery of the winding rotor. For lovers of high complications, Glashutte Original has produced a limited edition model whose manufacture hand wound Caliber 43 movement boasts an intricate flying tourbillon that has been crafted according to the specifications laid down by legendary German horologist Alfred Helwig.
