The IWC Vintage Collection invites connoisseurs of fine timepieces to discover notable design triumphs of one of the greatest Swiss watch brands. With characteristic attention to fine details, IWC introduces a sextet of of historic watches--the Portofino, the Portuguese, the Pilot's Watch, the Ingenieur, the Aquatimer, and the distinctive Da Vinci watch of 1969. Each of these unmistakably retro IWC timepieces is made in both a regular production stainless steel model, as well as a limited production platinum version. Encased in each is a self-winding or manually wound movement designed and manufactured by IWC. These movements showcase such notable horological features as the ingenious Pellaton automatic winding system, or the unique "Jones" fine adjustment system that recalls the first IWC pocket watch from the 1860s. |
