It seems that Kimora Lee Simmons is ready to give Elizabeth Taylor a run for her money. Simmons is obsessed with jewelry…especially diamonds! And she has only been married once so far!
Kimora Lee Simmons, star of her own reality show, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, is the ex-wife of hip-hop legend Russell Simmons, mother of two and President of Baby Phat Fashions, and has had a life long love affair with jewelry. And she’s not afraid to wear it! She recently told In Style magazine; “It’s never not appropriate to have on jewelry. I wear diamonds when I work out.” Her personal collection of jewelry is beyond extensive, comprised of pieces from designers Sol Rafael, Lorraine Schwartz and Martin Katz. While her taste tends toward large statements pieces, such as her emerald cut yellow diamond ring (said to be the size of a postage stamp!), she also enjoys fun pieces, such as her diamond encrusted Hello Kitty drop earrings.
It seems that Kimora Lee has diamond jewelry for every possible occasion. Case in point: Wondering what to wear with your shorts and cotton blouse while watching Serena and Venus Williams duke it out in the quarter finals of the US Open? To a tennis match?
