IWC was founded in Schaffhausen Switzerland in 1868. IWC manufactures seven watch collections: The Aquatimer, the DaVinci, the Grande Complication, the Ingenieur, the Pilot’s Watch, the Portofino, and the Portguese.
The Aquatimer 2000 model has a Titanium case with a rubber bracelet. Both models have an internally rotating bezel. The IWC Aquatimer Chrono is a chronograph with date and day feature. The Aquatimer Chrono also comes in a split chrono model.
The IWC DaVinci features a classic round case in two different sizes, the regular and the small size. All the DaVinci’s include a chronograph and a moon phase complication. The DaVinci Rattrapante includes a Rattrapante function also. IWC also manufactures a tourbillon model in gold. The small DaVinci has the same functions as the larger model.
The IWC Grande Complication is available in a Platinum case with either a platinum bracelet or leather strap. The Grande Complication includes a Chronograph, Date, Day, Minute Repeater, Month, Moon Phase, Perpetual Calendar, Sub Seconds. The Grande Complication has a 42mm case.
The IWC Ingenieur is a re issue of a watch that IWC manufactured in the 1970’s. The IWC Ingenieur automatic comes in a basic steel model. IWC also makes a special version of the Ingenieur for AMG. The Ingenieur Chronograph is available in steel with a steel or leather bracelet. IWC also manufactures a smaller mid size Ingenieur in a 34mm case with a date window.
IWC is famous for their Pilots watches. IWC manufactures a basic 39mm chronograph, a rattrapante, and a basic model. The IWC Big Pilots watch is perhaps their most unique pilots watch. The Big Pilot features a massive 46mm case and a 7 day power reserve. The crown is oversized and the watch is available in brown and blue dials.
The IWC Portofino is a classic men’s dress watch. The Portofino is available in an automatic and a chronograph version. The Portofino comes with leather or a stainless steel bracelet.
The IWC Portguese collection comes in an automatic, chrono, and minute repeater version. This year IWC launched the F.A Jones edition.
