Kate Winslet: Golden Girl!

Well here we are heading in to awards season, and wouldn’t you know, everyone is talking about Kate Winslet…AGAIN! Does this girl ever make a movie that she DOESN’T get nominated for?
Kate Winslet burst onto the American wide screen back in 1995 in Sense and Sensibility, and hasn’t slowed down since! She may be one of the hardest working women in movies today, and even better? She’s good! She has received many nominations from the Academy and in 1997 became the youngest actress ever to receive 2 academy nods (by 22, she had a nomination for S&S and Titanic). She was the first actress to ever have received four nominations by the time she was 30. Looks like she may soon be able to add another nomination: her performance in this year’s Little Children. Kate is known for being ‘curvy’ in a ‘stick thin’ business. Are actresses getting too thin? Is Kate the best example of a healthy looking actress?
