Sculpted from 18K rose gold or stainless steel the tonneau shaped case of this Glashutte Original watch measures 40.0 x 36.3mm, and features a lustrous polish that emphasizes fine quality. A shaped sapphire crystal curves gently over the dial, offering nearly impervious protection to unsightly scratches. The dial, available in both silvered and black variations is adorned with faceted and polished applied hour markers; finely polished alpha-shaped hands with luminous material make it a simple matter to tell the time by day or night.
The Glashutte Original Senator Karree Chronograph watch utilizes a fine self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Equipped with a modular chronograph device, the Caliber 39 movement in the Karree offers a chronograph mechanism with 30-minute and 6-hour totalizers, as well as a continuously running subsidiary seconds hand. Timing precision of 1/8 second is permitted, thanks to the balance wheel frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Connoisseurs will appreciate the sapphire crystal window in the caseback, which allows admiration of the traditional craft lavished upon the movement.
