Eva Mendes may be one of hot, young Hollywood’s hardest working actresses. Fresh off her success in the dramatic movie, “We Own the Night”, she already has several new movies underway. We will soon be seeing Ms. Mendes in another crime thriller called, “Cleaner”, with co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris. She has also filmed the long awaited comedy drama, “The Women”, co-starring Meg Ryan and Annette Bening, due out next year. Seems like Eva Mendes has found success, big time!
Recently, Eva Mendes was photographed outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York, before her taping of Late Night with David Letterman. Dressed in an ultra feminine black ruffled dress, she tops off her look with striking and unusual jewelry. Her ring is from de Grisogono, a brand for whom she is an ambassador, and it is fashioned of white gold that has been blackened. De Grisogono describes the ring as an alliance of contemporary and classic styles, with a mixture of oriental and baroque design. Sounds like this piece was designed to suit Eva Mendes personally!
In her upcoming film, “The Spirit”, Eva Mendes plays a jewel thief, and says the role has made her obsessed with expensive baubles in real life. She has said that playing the femme fatale character has made her love jewelry. We can’t wait to see what she will wear on the red carpet when that film comes out!
