Remember the 1996 movie Tin Cup? Kevin Costner plays a washed up golfer challenging suave Don Johnson in the U.S. Open for the championship, and the love of Renee Russo? Well, 11 years later, Don Johnson is still suave, and ruling the golf course, though now for a great cause.
Seen here, Don Johnson is a participant in the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation Annual Golf Classic, held at the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank California. This is one of the most renowned celebrity tournaments on the national circuit. Participants included Mr. Johnson, James Caan, Chris O’Donnell and Sugar Ray Leonard.
In a case of life imitating art, Don Johnson did in fact look suave and every bit the champion that day.
