Within a stately 46mm case sculpted from 18K white or red gold, the Dimier Recital 1 showcases an extraordinary manually wound movement, which is exclusively designed and manufactured by Dimier. A one-minute tourbillon rotates ethereally in its delicately rendered "Lotus Flower" cage, while twin mainspring barrels assure a power reserve of 8 days. A sapphire back reveals the hand-decorated glory of this watchmaking masterpiece, whose sublime details are eloquently matched by the exceptional aesthetic nuances of the dial. Just 100 examples of the Dimier Recital 1 watch will be made, 50 each for both colors of 18K gold.
DIMIER
The Dimier 1738 watch collection was born of a request by a dedicated collector with a great passion for Bovet timepieces. To accommodate the request of this distinguished gentleman, who desired a watch with a crown at 3 o'clock, Bovet owner Pascal Raffy created a parallel haute horlogerie brand named in honor of the Dimier brothers--noted suppliers of extraordinary watches to the Chinese imperial court in the 19th century. Limited to a an exceptionally small series of watches each year, each Dimier "Recital" is a horological performance of the utmost brilliance, entirely manufactured and handcrafted in Fleurier, Switzerland. |
