Diane Kruger: Deco-rated beautifully
|
Diane Kruger may be someone who looks familiar, but you are not sure from where. Think Troy. Think National Treasure. Now think: the first ever German to be named hostess, or “Matrisse de Ceremonie” of the Cannes Film Festival.
Despite flying low under the radar, Diane Kruger has already had a very fulfilling career. First as a ballerina with the Royal Ballet in London, then as a top fashion model in her native Germany, then ultimately as a film actress, who lives in Paris. Her talents have her now being recognized worldwide, and her effortless poise and flawless spoken French, were beautifully on display in Cannes.
Seen here, Diane is wearing a gauzy white dress, with her blond locks tied up. Walking the carpet for the opening of her French film ‘L’Age des Tenebres’ (the Age of Ignorance) she looks simple and elegant at first glance. Then you notice THE BRACELET! Wow – she knows how to stand out! This art deco style diamond bracelet looks like a giant daisy made of diamonds. This sizeable piece is a stunner! It is reminiscent of Fred Leighton’s art deco jewelry, and perhaps it is from his collection. This beautiful piece really stands out, and makes Diane look every bit the super star!
Are you a fan of art deco jewelry? Who else could wear this style?
Need your help on this one.
