As a final eye-catching treat, the Bell & Ross BR 01 Tourbillon watch displays regulator hours, in the primary subdial at the 12 o'clock position. Bell & Ross has spared no effort in creating a timepiece whose outer detailing is equal to the sophistication of the mechanism. The BR 01 Tourbillon watch's imposing 46mm case is crafted from titanium, whose ultra-tough DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment gives it an amazing hardness of 4000 Vickers. Much like a race car, the case has been hollowed out on the sides for weight reduction, and fitted with strikingly elegant, lightweight carbon fiber panels. A sapphire caseback permits a view into the complex movement, whose bridges are also made from carbon fiber.
Despite the intricacy of the movement, this timepiece is a purebred creation for sport, and is water resistant to a depth of 100 meters. The Bell & Ross BR 01 Tourbillon watch will be produced in very small numbers, and is supplied in a fine presentation box crafted from lacquered wood and carbon fiber. Sharing the modular concept inherent to the entire BR 01 watch collection, this prestigious watch is supplied with both a rubber and a crocodile strap, which can be easily interchanged in moments. Alternatively, the watch may be mounted in a supplied titanium and carbon fiber desk stand, transforming it into a remarkable table clock. |
