Think you’ve seen America Ferrera before? Don’t think Ugly Betty, think America the Beautiful! True, America is the star of ABC’s comedy Ugly Betty, but I think time and time again, America has proven herself otherwise, especially when walking the red carpet.
Seen here at Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards, America Ferrera looks fresh faced and confidant well beyond her years. While many celebrities dress down at this event (Cameron Diaz wore torn jeans), America wore a smart casual ruched dress from J Mendel with peep toe black sandals. Her look is still elegant, but not prom queen-ish, or Academy Awards formal…it’s just right. And pulling together her look? Jewelry from H. Stern. America wears the brand’s Neptune bracelet in noble gold and diamonds, stacked with their Stars Deco bracelet, also in noble gold and diamonds. And her piece de resistance? America chose to wear a one of a kind H. Stern white and black diamond ring, from the Star collection. Beautiful star indeed!
While America Ferrara did not win the Kids Choice Award that evening, she certainly qualified for best dressed!
